In the event someone out there is thinking about getting this kit, I put together a slide show of the process it took to get it onto the truck. It took 3 days at about 6 hours per day to get this thing on. The web page(s) state you can use simple tools and comes with everything you need to get the kit installed... True, but it sure helps to reinforce it with extra angle iron, and heavier duty bolts. Please be aware that the pictured items aren't what you actually get... certain trucks contain different brackets, plus the installation manual displays items that don't come with the kit... it does not state this anywhere, so you might think parts are missing... but they are not. Most pick up beds will have some sort of rust under them, so you don't want to just use the cradle piece that comes with the kit... you want to reinforce it with some 1/4" or 3/16 angle iron, plus it holds the bed with a wider grip. The swivel is just a notched out section in the rear with these plates, where a bolt goes through... then it uses the stock bed bolts to hold down the bed in the rear. The pump itself was easy to install, but I got to say the hardest part was removing the bed bolts... these have to be about 1 foot long... and they were rusted through... if it weren't for the plasma cutter, we would still be at the shop trying to remove the bolts!!! All in all, it wasn't too hard to install, so hopefully these pictures help you on your decision. The kit was 00. There is another one out ...
